The Reality of Plastic
Plastic. It's super useful but it's also a big problem for the environment. Enough plastic is thrown away every year to circle the earth four times! The main issue is that plastic doesn't biodegrade, meaning it sticks around for a very long time. This video gives a quick overview of the scope of the plastic problem and what some people are doing to try to solve it.
Solve the plastic problem with Engineering for Good.

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission has been hard at work to replace and upgrade aging infrastructure and reservoirs that make up the 80-year-old Hetch Hetchy water system. The most expensive and biggest of the jobs is replacing a 90-year-old earth and rock-filled Calaveras dam. Thousands of northern elephant seals, some weighing up to 4,500 pounds, make a migration to breed each winter at Año Nuevo State Reserve, on the San Mateo County coast. They draw not only tourists but also scientists who use satellite tags to track these animals out at sea. Pretty bad explanation.
I am coming with the idea of make a fabric from corn husks and I feel like it is a good idea and I go on the internet to research about that and I just realize that it is not a new idea there actually someone's idea from 10 years ago. anyway I love this Video it is so interesting!
Luckily they live wild where I am and intend to start a farming them soon. Since we are aiming for compost we basically just have to add food and we get soldier flies.

1:41 step drop im stuck 😩😩😩😩
Awesome!!! The cartoon-kinda images make the video even better!! really well-explained!👏👏👏👏
I'm quite angry over the fact that i'd love one of these but lawmakers seem to hate that idea...I guess they can't milk us for enough taxes that way. Quad ebikes and trikes aren't even allowed on the road here. Society needs to adapt and change. Not everyone needs or wants an automobile and all the expense that entails. There is no infrastructure for pedestrains or cycles to get around at all locally...though Amsterdam was able to do it in under 10 years. I think every city planner in the country should be forced to watch "Stroads" by Not Just Bikes.
Anyone watching this in the year 2024

Wonder Woman. God bless. Lazarus will be praying for you instead in Abraham's bosom, not the rich men in the Bay Area and even the whole USA who don't lift a finger to help people in need. The story of Lazarus and the Rich Man teaches that just for not helping the poor man in need like Lazarus is enough to send those who are able to help but didn't to the place of torment--where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth, or the worms dieth not and the fire is not quenched!!! Great example. More power

It cost alot to find out if an ELF is fot you? How do you secure it against theft?
All bicycle security methods apply - we lock it to a post with a chain or cable. The motor key removes. This thing is huge, kids can't steal and hide it in the bushes. At the present time, only used ELFs are available.
From mrs Oniles class pls do your homework nicely
I know I’m late but still

Easy and simple explanation! That's exactly what i want 😊
